Important: Permanent Account Deletion
Deleting your account is permanent and irreversible. All your data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. Please ensure you have exported any data you wish to keep before proceeding.
How to Request Account Deletion
Method 1: Delete Account from Within the App (Recommended)
- Sign in to your TradesCal account using the mobile app or web application
- Navigate to your Profile Settings page
- Scroll down to the "Danger Zone" section
- Click the "Delete Account" button
- Type "DELETE MY ACCOUNT" to confirm
- If you have an email/password account, enter your current password for verification
- Click "Permanently Delete Account"
- Your account and all associated data will be immediately and permanently deleted
Method 2: Request Deletion via Email
- Send an email to tobiburofficial@gmail.com
- Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request - TradesCal"
- Include the following information in your email:
- Your registered email address
- Your account display name (if applicable)
- A clear statement requesting account deletion
- Confirmation that you understand the deletion is permanent
- We will process your request within 7 business days and send you a confirmation email once your account has been deleted
What Data Will Be Deleted
Data That Will Be Permanently Deleted:
- •User Account: Your authentication account (email, password hash, display name)
- •Trade History: All saved trade calculations, including buy prices, sell prices, quantities, timestamps, and trade types
- •User Preferences: Any saved settings or preferences associated with your account
- •Account Metadata: Account creation date, last login information, and other account-related metadata
Data Retention Period:
Once you request account deletion, your data will be permanently deleted immediately (for in-app deletion) or within 7 business days (for email requests). There is no retention period - all data is completely removed from our systems and cannot be recovered.
Data That Is NOT Stored (Nothing to Delete):
- •Payment Information: We do not process payments or store payment data
- •Third-Party Data: We do not share or store data with third-party services beyond Firebase (authentication and database)
- •Location Data: We do not collect or store location information
- •Device Information: We do not store device-specific identifiers or hardware information
Technical Details
TradesCal uses Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore for data storage. When you delete your account:
- Your Firebase Authentication account is permanently deleted
- All documents in the Firestore database associated with your user ID are permanently deleted
- All data is removed from Google Cloud Platform servers
- Backup data (if any) is also permanently deleted within 30 days
After Account Deletion
- •You will be automatically signed out of the application
- •You will not be able to recover any deleted data
- •You can create a new account using the same email address if desired
- •You will not receive any emails from us after account deletion
